Gokce started his carrier as an assistant in 1993. He has a Master's degree in Photography.
Many of his commercial work have received prestigious awards in international advertising competitions such as Epica, Golden Drum, Cannes Lions, NY Fest and Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year.
Gokce’s food photography has been published in many cookbooks. With “Net:425 gr” by Gamze Bursa, he won “The best cookbook photography award” in Gourmand competition in PARIS, in 2008.
With his Fine Art Photography, he participated exhibitions in New York City, London and Paris. He had his first solo exhibition "Unfamiliar" in midtown Manhattan, in 2017.
5 of Gokce's images from the series "Egg yolk" are chosen to exhibit in Photoville's "The FENCE" in 2018. The FENCE is a large-scale traveling photography exhibition reaching over 6 million visitors annually through open-air exhibitions in 8 cities across North America: Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Santa Fe, Durham, Denver, Calgary (Canada). 
​With one of the  images from his 'Egg yolk" series, he won "Production Paradise Spotlight Award for Photographic Excellence" in food photography category, in 2018.
​In Photoville NYC-2019, his "Acupuncture" series exhibited in "Flavor feast" container. He also gave a "Table top photography"  workshop in Photoville same year.
Gokce started directing commercials in 2012. In 2017 he directed his first short film “Limbo” which is a part of his long time project which is supported by both photography and film. Limbo got selected, screened and awarded by nearly 70 festivals throughout the world in countries like USA, Italy, Spain, France, China and UK.
